Defining and Using Views

In the Define View dialog, views can be defined for the following 3 sheets ONLY: Project Data, Resource Data, and Effort Forecasts. There are separate mechanisms for defining views for the Project & Resource Hierarchy modules.

Select menu View-Define View. Select an existing view to modify it or use it as a base for a new view, or type in a new name to create a new view. When the right hand box has the correct fields (columns), you MUST click the Save button at the top to save the View specification (to the PDWViews.ini file).


Using a View

On one of the three sheets, right click and click Select View.

Choose a view from the list in the dialog and press the OK button.
